TODAY’S JOEL OSTEEN DAILY INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE

The Scripture says, “Set your mind and keep it set.” At the start of the day, you need set your mind. When you get out of bed, “Father, thank You for the gift of this day. It’s another day that You have made. I’m going to choose to be happy; I’m going to see the best. I’m going to be a blessing to someone. I’m going to live this day to the fullest.” If you don’t set your mind, the enemy will set it for you.

You’ll wake up and think about all your problems and everything you’ve done wrong. Don’t start the day off negatively. Don’t bring yesterday’s trouble, yesterday’s disappointment, yesterday’s failures into today. Start the day afresh and anew. Don’t miss this powerful message, “Dealing with Negative Thoughts” from Joel: https://bit.ly/3rn12Nj

Get your words going in the right direction. You can’t talk negative and have a positive life. You can’t talk defeat and live victoriously. You can’t talk lack and have abundance. Your words are setting the course for your future. If you want to know what you’re going to be like five years from now, listen to what you’re saying about yourself. “I can’t accomplish my dreams; I don’t have the connections.

I’ll never get well; the medical report’s not improving. I’ll never break this addiction, never meet the right person, my children will never get back on course.” If you have a negative mouth, you’re going to have a negative life. Quit speaking defeat over your future.

Instead of, “I have to go to work.” Try a different approach. “I get to go to work. I have a job. I have income, resources.” “I can’t stand driving in this traffic. It’s so stressful.” How about, “I get to drive in traffic. I have a car. I have opportunity.” “I’ve got to clean the house again today. That’s the story of my life.” No, how about, “I get to clean the house. God has blessed me with a place to live.”

If you’ll have the right perspective, you’ll find joy in the journey. “I’m not in my dream house yet, but Lord, I’m grateful for this apartment. I haven’t met the right person yet, but Lord, I’m grateful being single. This place I’m working now is not where I want to end up, but Lord, I’m grateful that I’m employed.”
